Shuttle and Mir 80 Minutes After Undocking

Last evening (Oct. 3) at 18h47m UTC I watched STS-86 and Mir
on their parallel flight through Sagittarius. Both were of 
the same brightness and about 20" apart. I was able to follow
them with my 203-mm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (133x) until
shadow entry, when they were 17 degrees above the southern 
horizon (and still rising).
Co-ordinates of my observing site at Saarbruecken-Bischmisheim,
Germany: long. 7d03'42" E, lat. 49d12'52" N, alt. 293 m
