I do agree with Jay's comment on Walters proposals.
It will be a good thing to agree on a common termonology for use in the
sat community, even if it's not so common in other areas such as
astronomy.
For people like me, not native to english (or american?) it is even more
difficult to use the right word. Most of the time I tend to use the
word I notice to be used for that particular subject on SeeSat. When
describing something new I use a dictionary and look for the word, but
it is obvious that I can pick the wrong one for that particular meaning.
please correct me if you think I'm using a wrong word.
As for NORAD I fully agree with Jay. For years I'm familiar with the
term NORAD and it automatically stand for catalogue # for me; as does
COSPAR for the International Designation.
Let's use azimuth from North to east ect; as is common for most people
(sorry for you down under).
Perhaps a list with all the 'officially' to be used terms can be
published on VSOHP when this discussion comes to a end (or is put to it)
