I just finish reading a book that I thought would be racist, but
after reading it, I found that it was about family and true
friends. The title of the book is Clubs and Crackers and the
"Cracker" part got me a bit upset, since I am a white woman. I
recommend that all people read this book, which is about two
black families living in the South doing the 1950s. It's very
intense, and I don't recommend it for young people under the age
of 15. The African American man who sued the U.S. in 1994 wrote
the book. I remember hearing in the news (CNN) about his case
back then. I also saw him on one of the talk shows. Believe me,
it was worth the $8.00. I found the ordering information on this
