On the night of Oct 10th I was observing the eastern sky when I spotted a satellite traveling from S to NNE. The object was at about 4th mag and passed within 2 degrees of Epsilon Cassiopeia at 8:02 PM. Satspy predicted the closest sat at that time was dmsp f14 (usa131) #24753 and showed that the position in the sky was about 5 degrees farther to the eastern horizon, about 8 minutes later with a magnitude of about 5.5 46.205 n 93.262 w 238m My question is, do I have the correct satellite and the prediction is within tolerance for error, or am making calculations from missing something in my calculations. Or did I happen to see the infamous N. Korean submersible sat.
