Hi all,

I noticed all the notes on Ir 14? and had an opportunity to observe it
this evening. 10/22/98 UTC,I noted three brilliant flashes around mag
-1 to 1 as it broke cloud cover at 00:10:50. I was only able to estimate
the times based on an NIST broadcast. I timed one series of flashes
with a stopwatch/lap timer and another series on tape with NIST
background. Three brilliant flashes at 00:10:53, 57 and 00:11:01
estimated +- 1 sec.

Series one primaries at: 00:13:05.55, 09.61, 14.50, 19.51,24.37, 29.16,
34.07,
 38.90, 43.90, 48.78 for 42.23/9 = 4.803 period
These were mag 2 to 3
-or-
97030A 001348.78 98-10-22 JN 42.23" 09 4.803

I have yet to review the secondary flash data on the second series that
I taped.

Observed Iridium 11 Tum as well, The primaries were

97030G 005706.59 98-10-22 JN 59.81" 10 5.981

Again I have yet to review the tape for additional info ie magnitudes.
