Dale: There was also an article "Blinded By the Light" written by Mark Ward
for New Scientist and can be found in the 20 June 1998 New Scientist Archive:

It can be found at :

http://www.newscientist.com:80/ns/980620/nsspacemirror.html

That article states "Eventually the SRC (Space Regatta Consortium) would like
to launch a constellation of up to 200 reflectores to light up the artic."

In the paragraph just before it states, "Each reflector would measure 70
meters across providing light as bright as the full moon."

70 meters X 200 reflectors x 100 times the as bright as Luna = "WOW!!!"
plus each reflector would be capable of covering 10km to 43km.
