Searching in vain for the unknown from the previous night to arrive, i
looked for Iridium Sim1 #24925 97048 with my 10x50s. I quickly spotted an
object and within the same FOV (5.5 deg for my 10x50s) there was a second
and then a third object. I then realized that they were travelling together
and must be a NOSS trio, in this case, NOSS 2-1. They were in an elongated V
that filled up the FOV quite nicely. NOSS 2-1 (C) #20691 90050C leading,
NOSS 2-1 (D) #20692 90050D on the left (from my point of view) and NOSS 2-1
(E) #20642 90050E on the right. The time was 02:24:46 11 Oct UTC. Az 60 deg
El 50 deg.
