Hi all, I got the message from someone at JSC. Perhaps someone has seen this object and its broken antenna. If not, it sounds like it would be an interesting target. I just checked the orbit and perigee is currently over the southern hemisphere, and since the apogee is over 45000 km, I doubt many northern observers will have a chance. It has four of them, each 250 meters long. I was curious if (1) any of your observers had attempted to observe Image with its long antennas, and (2) whether they would like to look and see if they can observe the broken antenna. ------------------------------------------- Mark Matney, Ph.D. Senior Scientist - Lockheed Martin Orbital Debris Program Office NASA Johnson Space Center ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
