This is an update of the following message:

NASA has revised its predicted Shuttle and ISS elements. The following are applicable following the separation burn on 2002 Oct 16
    at 14:46 UTC:

    1 27537U 02047A 02289.66255790 .00071000 00000-0 10050-3 0 9052
    2 27537 51.6305 162.8462 0021312 1.3906 358.7305 15.59437734 1395

    1 25544U 98067A 02289.66257588 .00020000 00000-0 26000-3 0 9058
    2 25544 51.6305 162.8463 0019792 6.5221 353.6188 15.58880377 23029

The following table states the number of seconds of time by which ISS would trail Shuttle:

    2002 Oct 16 17:56 UTC Western Europe 4 s
    2002 Oct 17 00:09 UTC Eastern N. America 13 s

The separation would not be much greater on subsequent N. American passes.

Observers should use the above elements to compute ephemerides for their location.

Further revisions of the elements are likely; I will post updates.

    Ted Molczan
