I saw it from Burbank 130 miles east of Vandenberg. It was a pretty good show and looked about like the one last month on Sept.19. There had been some clouds and thick haze earlier in the day, but luckily, almost as if on cue, it started clearing from the west a couple of hours before the beginning of the launch window and the haze diminished as well. Pictures will serve better than any written description that I'd be able to come up with. As of Monday night, there are pictures taken from Simi Valley approximately 110 miles east of Vandenberg posted at this website (courtesy of Tracy Justus): http://www.freqofnature.com/ click on: <Photos of a Minuteman II Missile Launch> -- Jake ------------------------------------------- Introducing NetZero Long Distance Unlimited Long Distance only $29.95/ month!
