just came in from observing part of the shenzhou 6 rocket pass through & between heavy cloudcover. I caught sight of it as it emerged or a few seconds later, then lost it immediately. I couldn't see mebsuta, tejat prior or tejat posterior because of the clouds, only procyon, saturn, sirius, betelgeuse and possibly alphard were visible, at intervals. its path still matches predictions on HA nearly exactly, it passed closest to saturn (which stayed visible the entire time) at 10:52:32 UTC by my watch (which I believe is running around 4 seconds fast) HA shows it pasing nearest to saturn at 10:52:28 or so. the object was again very bright, outshining saturn. it is tumbling possibly at a faster rate, I couldn't really tell because of the cloudcover. clear skies! stephan szyman chicago IL USA 41.6840N, 87.7000W; 188 msl PS GO WHITE SOX!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
