Forgot that Sep 30 (UT) NOSS 3-4 pair (07-27A,C) flared to 0 mag at 1:40 UT in Cassiopeia in front of several people at Okie-Tex. Later that night was an enormous bolide estimated at -12 magnitude. OT I also saw the gegenshein and zodiacal light that night. Flaring geosats (format described at http://satobs.org/seesat/Oct-2007/0244.html) except, I like Mike's idea of including common name, so I added them: 23816 8338 20081001 0231 W T 000 7 B U INTELSAT 707 25371 8338 20081001 0241 W T 000 11 B P INTELSAT 805 25004 8338 20081001 0310 W E 000 5 B U ECHOSTAR 3 27711 8338 20081001 0500 W T 000 8 B P MILSTAR 6 22930 8338 20081001 0520 W T 000 10 B U DIRECTV 1 Group of 2 25740 8338 20081001 0520 W T 000 11 B U NIMIQ 1 Group of 2 25626 8338 20081001 0526 W T 000 7 B U TELSTAR 6 Group of 2 26038 8338 20081001 0527 W T 000 9 B U GALAXY 11 Group of 2 33275 8338 20081001 0812 W T 000 9 B U AMC-21 26639 8338 20081001 0828 W T 000 11 B U AURORA 3 Brad Young COSPAR 8338 Kenton, OK 36.8978°N, 102.9522°W ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
