While observing at the Georgev Moores Astronomy Workshop held near Edmonton Alberta we saw 4 flaring Geosync satellites in a one degree FOV. They were easily seen at first at 1X as two bright stars in Cetus at about UT 4 a.m. on Saturday morning. The arrangement of their positions was similar to what DirectV 4S and 9S, and AMC-2 and AMC-4 form. As they moved through the starfield they would switch brightness first one then the other. Watched for about 15 minutes. Neat Someone mentioned the name "Direct" so not sure if these were the four.
