We don't know when it started, but we watched LES 8 (76-023A, 08746) flashing about every 10.68 seconds last night from 3:47:52 to 4:33:16 October 8 UTC. The brightest flashes, which are very fast like those of Superbird A, were at least +4.0 magnitude if not +3.5. This episode was while it was located RA 22:00 to 22:45, Dec -8.5 to -10.5, approximately. Have been seeing quite a few flaring geosats the last several nights, in beautiful weather. (I noticed LES 8 while watching a flaring geosat about 5 degrees due north of it.)
