Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
frame integration.
Used with 70mm focal length f/2.8 lens,integrating for 96 frames
which is equivalent to an exposure of 1.92 seconds per image.

Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa

(1) #37169 little difficult - max elevation about 15 degrees and variable
in fairly bright twilight sky
(2) #37168 maybe variable. Easy at culmination but faded quite a lot
before end of pass- maybe more than one would expect from phase
angle
(3) #37162 easy entire pass, no variability except phase angle
