Many thanks to Kevin for his attempt at orbit determination for my
"unknown" and to Mike McCants for identifying the object - nothing
special -Breeze-M Deb (tank) 10-034C # 36794. Do not know what I did
not identify it correctly - must be getting too old for this "job"
anymore :-((

With all the cloudy weather I have started building a second CoSatrak
type system - computer controlled GOTO - using a PC and parallel port
interface and stepper motors but this time driving an equatorial that
can carry one of several telescopes I have - a 4,6,8 or 10 inch scope.
So far all going well and just have to improve the polar alignment and
then I should be able to use it for high altitude satellites and remote
operation. The original equatorial mount is a so called CG5 mount and
came with a paddle that had RA and Dec drive but no GOTO - I did away
with the paddle and constructed my own electronic interface to connect
to a PC or laptop. The system is a well proven design by Mel Bartels in
the late 1990's and I am using his software SCOPE and uses a DOS
operated computer -- a little bit "ancient" technology but than I am
ancient but as long as it works and produces the goods whats wrong with
old technology ? Besides I used whats in my "junk box" so cost was minimal.

Cheers
Greg
