Using Ted's recent search orbits, I went to play try to spot the OTV. Nothing was seen at the predicted times. I looked a few minutes before and after. Now for crazy thought observation, so pay no attention. While staring at the sky, I noticed a moving star. It could have been a airplane, I couldn't see any flashing lights, as they sky was bright. This object passed above Alpha Orion, I beleive around 10:32 utc ( Oct 5 ) The path was was off, from OTV was predicted and the angle of the path seemed off to. I tried to aim and follow the darn thing, no luck. Trying to point the video camera which is mounted on top of a telescope, is a pain in the behind, even more so when trying to follow a moving object.
