Hello all.
Here are replies to some duplicate comments I received.

For sync sats, and low sats fainter than mag 9, I use a Celestron 8" SCT.
For sats mag 8-9, Celestron 20x80 binoculars.
Brighter sats, 8x56 binoculars.

Some observers have seen Comstar 4 R at 40000 km. Thanks for those replies.
How about the rest of you? What are your distance records?

When I asked about seeing 4 sats at one time, I excluded NOSS because they
would not all be in a telescope eyepiece field of view. At best, they would
be spread over a few degrees in binoculars. An interloper would cross them in
a few seconds rather than move along together for a period of time.
