Kommentar zu P16770@BB in der Gruppe SeeSat-Mailingliste RB>You can also call the modem line at N.I.S.T. (303-494-4744), which sends a time mark to your computer screen once per second (also very handy for automatically calibrating your computer clock). The correct number is 303-494-4774 (thanks Rick!) and I think may be my time signal choice of the future. First, it sets my PC clock pretty easily, and the round-trip time of a modem signal is probably far more constant than that of a ntp connection. Furthermore some modems do compute the round-trip delay and thus this error can be corrected very easily. If there is a software that automatically adjusts the PC clock and evaluates the round-trip dealy, please let me know. Otherwise I'll write a small program to do just that. Hej d†, Marco
