PPAS Obs: 99-022 C 00-09-06 00:59:18.75JDG 136.1 0.3 53 2.57 +2.7->5.5 Abrixas Rk (25723, 99022C) remains as one of the more entertaining flasher in LEO. Iridium 68 made a nice predicted +1 mag flare at 0:04:46 UT, 6 Sept, near Polaris. Orion 3 (25727, 99024A) was a non-obs for both passes (0:16 and 2:04 UTC, 6 Sept.). Astro D (22521, 93011A) is making visible evening passes in the USA now. It seemed to be in a slow roll last July and may be worth a look now. http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/Jul-2000/0213.html As OFEQ 3 (23549, 95018A) nears decay it continues to be brighter (~4.5 mag) and moves more quickly across the sky (mm=15.6222). I did not see any evidence of tumbling just yet. It may be more apparent with a binocular obs as opposed to last evening's scope obs.
