due to anomalies beyond my control,
I was awake to view the immersion of
TDF 1 into the sunlight, not with a
bang but with a whimper, ie, *NO* flashes
seen from 0822 to 0842 ut.
conus visibilis not apparent at this time.
(unless Ed saw it while I was napping, but
I have my doubts about that).
I feel non_sleepy, I will look from time
    to time until sunrise.
Orion and waning moon nicely noted
    in E&NE 0840 ut
