We observed J002E3 at the George Observatory outside Houston last
night. For those of us used to observing 19th-magnitude asteroids, this one
(at around 16th magnitude) was a piece of cake! A very interesting object.
(We'll turn in the astrometry tomorrow; I plan to observe it again tonight.)
I encourage others to try for it also. Note you need to get ephemerides
tailored to your observing location for this one. But, I guess satellite
observers are well used to having to do that. :-)
