    Hi all ,

I'm thinking of buying one of the new generation digital cameras , something
like the Fuji Finepix7000 and wondered if anyone had tried the long
exposure mode on these jobbies for satellite imaging.

The 7000 will take exposures of up to 15 seconds. A standard , modified
webcam will get down to about mag 7/8 in that time in stand-alone mode .
Will jthe Fuji do the same ?

Be interested to hear if anyone has experience of this type of camera.

    Many thanks,

    John.
