Format: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html Observed a previously unreported geoflasher, found by Ron Welch of Canberra, and ID by Ed Cannon. This is aurora 2, 1991 37A. The shortest interval between flashes was 175.9 seconds, but there were both intervals (3) of twice this and three of 3 times the smallest. Thus rather undecided on period. Rather a difficult object to observe with handheld binoculars for a hour, but i dont think i missed too many flashes. all I saw were strobe like and mag 2-3.
