Obs SatTrackCam Leiden (4352), 5 Sept 2005: 26473 00 047A 4352 B 20050905191350800 17 75 2041324+163340 56 X+000 10 Method: Canon Digital Ixus 400 + ASTRORECORD astrometric software. Camera at manual mode, "10 second" (= 10.7 second) exposure, wide field f2.8/7.41 mm. What these numbers mean: http://www.satellite.eu.org/position/IODformat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the startpoint of the trail on the flare image I posted on SeeSat yesterday. Endpoint of trail was inmeasurable as it faded out when sat brightness went below imaging threshold. I suggest some caution with the above datapoint too. Obtained in very strong twilight, image is light-blue but I still could measure 91 reference stars spread well over the image. - Marco :-) ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, Cospar 4352 Leiden, the Netherlands, 52.15894 N, 4.48883 E (WGS84), +5 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com e-mail: meteorites@dmsweb.org ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
