We have an invisible pass of Suitsat at this stage predicted on 7 September at 1606 UTC. and a pass commencing at 1737 with shadow entry towards the end of the pass at relatively low elevation. Both of these passes appear to be within the likely decay window. I would be interested in comments on the likely visibility of a decay should it occur near here, the first pass being in darkness, the second at dawn. The Suit is stated to have dimensions of 1 metre x 2.5 metres. Looks like it will be a busy early morning with the above plus a visible shuttle pass and two visible ISS passes to look for! At the moment the long range forecast is for cloud with fine spells so prospects for observation are uncertain.
