    Because they are there. No irony here - it's a reassuring feeling to know we can predict and then see manmade objects that are very high up and moving very fast.
    
    Also because they are not there - I hate it when one is moved or I can't find one. 22009, a DSCS satellite, is my latest nemesis (there have been many).
