FWIW, going out on a limb and say we had a probable faint sighting in a 7.5° FOV near 37 Ori this morning (24 Sept) at around 1230z. It was difficult to track, considering a NOSS 3-6 doublet 25 minutes later in the same sky region was easy seeing. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Fetter via Seesat-l Sent: Sunday, 24 September, 2017 08:10 To: SeeSat-L_at_satobs.org Subject: might I have seen the OTV5 = faint object I had aimed at a certain area of sky, and again played the satellites coming by. I ran into a problem, I noticed a somewhat fast moving faint unid. I did a check, and if I allow for time and slight path error, I might have had a visit from OTV 5. Only problem is this object was faint, I would expected OTV 5 to be bright.
