If you have just subscribed to SeeSat-L for the first time,
we appreciate it if you send a short introduction about yourself
and your interest in satellite observing to the EXPLOSIVE address

    Hello:

I am 58 and live in Bend, Oregon USA. I am semi retired. From May to the
end of October I work as a Park Ranger at Crater Lake National Park. I
have been an amateur astronomer since 1967.

I have a Meade 16 inch Dob telescope. I also own a pair of Oberwerk
20X90 binoculars which is mounted on a Universal Astronomics Unimount
    Deluxe.

I use Guide 8 or Heavens-Above to plan my satellite observing sessions.
I am currently working on viewing geostationary satellites and am
interested in viewing satellites fainter than the ones listed on
Heavens-Above. I have seen 514 satellites and have made 1073 observations.
