Method: Canon Digital Ixus 400 + ASTRORECORD astrometric software.
Camera at manual mode, "10 second" (= 10.7 second) exposure, wide field
    f2.8/7.41 mm.

    What these numbers mean:
    http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

An USA 186 (05-042A) observation of the 17th plus ISS & Iridium observations of
the 16th and 17th. Observations on the 17th were aborted early due to fog
    developing.

    05-042A was late (0.4 s).

I saw Lacrosse 4 (00-047A) flare in the fog to mag. 0 at 22:42:00 UTC (Apr. 17),
and USA 186 (05-042A) still under clear conditions to mag. 0 at 20:30:20 UTC
(Apr 17). I catched the latter photographically while it was fading, the
exposure starting some 5 seconds after the flare peak.

Iridium 64 (98-021C) made a brilliant -8.3 flare this evening, which I observed
visually but missed photographically because I had triggered the camera 10
seconds too late by mistake. Bugger!
