Wow, what an evening!!! Just observed IGS 1B (03-009B) flaring brilliantly to mag. -5 (yes, minus five!) in the northeast!!! This was at about 21:06:20 UTC. Never seen that before with IGS 1B! I was quite taken aback by it - I was in the proces of moving my tripod to another spot after a first shot when I saw it flaring and my jaw dropped. Didn't get the chance to aim and trigger the camera properly - Marco 8-D ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, Cospar 4353 Leiden, the Netherlands. 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com Atom RSS: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com/atom.xml e-mail: sattrackcam@wanadoo.nl ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
