This morning (Sunday) around 8am Pacific I heard and felt what sounded
like a loud explosion nearby (in my neighborhood within a mile or two.
According to reports, this boom was heard/felt by many across multiple
counties in the region. News reports say it was a sonic boom from a
meteor, possibly Lyrid or unrelated fireball.
