Thanks for the info I forgot about those guys:( Can't imagine how difficult is was to watch sats before personal computers with tracking software. You would have to get the info from newspapers, and tv, etc I believe. S. Hujsak in 1979. Felix Hoots and Ron Roehrich wrote Spacetrack Report 3 in 1980 for the Air Force I believe which widely distributed the models. Software with these models began appearing several years later. TS Kelso provided the report in pdf format (1988) which helped further distribute the models.
