I observed both the rocket and the satellite about 30 minutes ago from my
location. Both were on time and on track as they travelled through the Big
Dipper. The rocket was first and it flashed for several seconds, i can't
give it's magnitude but it clearly out-shone any of the stars of Ursa Major.
The satellite was 3 minutes behind and although it wasn't as bright as the
rocket, it was easily visible.
