Hello all,

I'm not heavy into satellite observing, so I would like to see if someone
can help me identify a satellite my girlfriend (Ann Vaisman) and I saw
tonight, she also just joined this list (firefox@erols.com).

Its been a while seen I looked into the night sky, or at a star chart, so
I'm not even going to attempt to give a magnitude of the object. The object
was very easy to see with the naked eye and moved rather slow compared to
others I've seen over many years. The direction of travel appeared to be
from south to about north-northeast at 5:59 p.m. eastern time (2259 UTC).

I'm about 25 miles south of Washington DC, so I put my latitude and
longitude at about;

Lat:  38.9206 North
Lon:  -77.0658 West

I ran a check on a object list that I have using Traksat software but didn't
come up with anything that matched my observation.

Can anyone help ID this object?

Thanks.
