Viewed 12/7/01 17.56.35 2d under Vega going due north ISS, intersecting Polaris at 17.57.45. I wanted to see STS-108 as a separate entity (and thought it would happen with old info, I was hours behind with updated tle's), but I count this as a sighting of STS-108 even though they were docked at 15.03.30 EST . Cloudy with Vega in and out of visibility but watched ISS, just barely visible at times, then to north with clear skies. Saw ISS on 12/5/01 at Caph for the first time telescopically, with an eight inch Newtonian with a Dobsonian mount at 96X. To fast, need to try at 48X, but still fun, definite shape and size. 39.4697 Lat -79.3393 Lon 784 m ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
