Despite (or perhaps because of) a low haze that obscured the lights of Los Angeles and Palos Verdes, my wife and I observed the launch of AC164 from the beach at Newport Beach, CA. We first saw the vehicle as a red spot very low to the horizon and observed the burnout of the solid boosters, and shutdown of the booster and sustainer stages. I lost track after the sustainer shutdown.
