    Taking the current solar data just arrived in the mailbox and running a HF 
    propagation program with 4996 bleeping out at 5&9....
    
    It produced a 1 hop Maximum Useable Frequency between here and Moscow of 
    2670km, with
    MUF of 8300 KhZ and LUF of 800KhZ....so until solar activity heads back up, 
    9996 will be non propagational at this time of night.
    
    I'd suggest a websearch of such a program - most are shareware, the solar 
    data is available, and look at running your own such calculations.
