Iridium-36

howdy folks,
just minutes ago saw my first -planned- Iridium flare right hard
by Spica. Though I've seen a better one by accident back in October, this
one was certainly worth waiting up for (05:15:55 local). Also, regardless
of playing too much pool and drinking far too many beers this Friday
night, I believe I got a nice picture of it from the roof of the
Oceanography Department here. Once I get the film developed I'll put it
on my website (below).
	Of more practical interest:
earlier tonight I watched the 23:02 UT pass of Mir and subsequently
Progress M-37. My elsets for the latter I got from the Shuttle-Mir Web
Whatsnew at http://shuttle-mir.nasa.gov/shuttle-mir/whatsnew.html a few
days ago and for it called for Progress to come by about 29 seconds before
it did (I have 261 or so seconds between the two). Would my elsets be
bad, or are playing remote-control up there?
anyway, off to my neglected bed...
