The current (February) issue of Orion, the magazine of the Swiss Astronomical Society, includes nice CCD images of geostationary satellites obtained by Stefano Sposetti. These include superpositions of many frames which show the motion of these objects over several hours. See also the society's Astroinfo WWW site at: http://www.astroinfo.ch/satellit/obsgeo.html and http://www.astroinfo.ch/aida/sposetti which have MPEG movies too (though some of the links appeared to be broken when I checked this evening).
