Cosmos 1043 is making very low passes over the U.S. tonight (Monday 2/23)

Cosmos 1043 5.0 1.5 0.0 5.4 v 219 x 213
1 11055U 78094A 98054.56090412 .01299285 -92903-6 62395-3 0 5252
2 11055 81.1351 70.8395 0004456 186.1840 173.9391 16.21322225 70480

According to Skymap 6.2 the along-track uncertainty using the above
elset is 10.9 seconds.

The height will be about 136 statute miles (219km). Observers in Texas
and California will have excellent overhead passes. For my central
California location the predicted magnitudes are 1.3 (Quicksat) and
1.8 (Skymap). Now if only the clouds stay away long enough.
