Sizes of auxiliary motors (aka SOZ motors or ullage motors) is
slightly different for different versions of the Block DM upper
stage. For the 11S86 version max diameter is 55 cm and max length is
115 sm, for the 11S861 and 11S861-01 ones max diameter is 68 cm and
max length is 90 cm. Both variants has irregular form. I'll try
to scan picture of SOZ and post it (small overview version) to
SeeSat-L. As for empty mass, it is usually around 100-106 kg for
both types of motors.
Consult 'Novosti Kosmonavtiki' Russian magazine, vol. 8, No. 10, 1998,
pp. 25-29 as reference for Block DM type in particular launch. It
seems, page mentioned by Mike DiMuzio in his message contains
