    Not a lot of detail to go on, but the following object was crossing Mir's 
    path at 1420. So, it was in the right place at the right time (about 15 deg 
    to the left of Polaris along Mir's track) and more than double the height of 
    Mir's orbit. Perhaps someone has seen flares from this object?
