    Hi All,
Having returned from 'cyber wilderness' following last week's post,
can I ask the List to recommend a short list of satellites suitable for kids
in the 10-12 age bracket to observe.

My local primary school head teacher has asked me to make up a short
observing list after the recent demise of Starshine. I am looking for 5 or 6
satellites (excluding Mir, ISS and the Shuttles) which:

    a) Are easy binocular objects

    b) Are good examples of their type

    c) Have interesting mission objectives

    d) Have high orbital inclinations (to give good passes over SE Ireland)

My thanks to all who sent private words of comfort last week!

    Regards,

    Pat Curran
