Some list members should be interested in the results reported
in the TASS list a few days ago, see
    http://www.tass-survey.org/tass/mailarchive/2003-02/msg00068.html
The Stardial system is a drift scan camera looking at declinations
0 to -8 degrees due South of latitude 40.11, longitude 88.22W.
It is currently running, and has been imaging since 1996. The
images are available on the Web ( see www.stardial.com )
It seems to me this system would be of some use in checking up
on geoflashers that occasionally must transit its FOV. ( 8 deg in Declination
    by 5 degrees in RA.
Just at the moment none of the Geoflashers in my subset are in the FOV
    according to highfly.
