    Allen, the xvista software is supposed to reject trails, as astronomers only
    find them a nuisance. Its only asteroid hunters who look for trailed images,
    like occassional seesat contributor Jim Scotti. If you go huntind in ADS
    you might find a paper or two with his name in the author list.
