I noticed a star, where Intelsat 1R was. I moved the scope, to make sure it's not a hotpixel are noise as I call it. It's not, but in fact Intelsat 1R ( 26608 ) It's very faint, around mag 9, but I can see it. So I know I am not seeing things. Now stay away clouds, so I can observe a flare from it. Darn clouds came yesterday, just as Intelsat 1R was starting to flare up ! Time was 0:20 UTC ( Feb 1 ) Tonight at around 2:27 UTC give are take a few minutes, it will get bright for a few minutes.
