I observed Insat 2B giving bright flashes every 12 seconds, between 2:31 to 2:38 UTC ( Feb 16 )

Intelsat 1R ( 26608 ) was noticeable brighter, at the second time it flared up, a few minutes
around 3:37 UTC.  In the naked eye range.
