I've been off the list for a while but now that I'm back I thought
I'd say "hi" by saying I just watched USA 193 fly over my location in
    northern Utah, USA.

Heavens Above told me when and where to look. Those data were
accurate but they were off in their brightness estimate. They
predicted +1.5 but what I saw was at least -0.5.

It is obviously getting low as it practically streaked across the
sky. So fast, in fact, it reminded me of when I saw Stardust coming
home back in 2006 (Stardust landed a hundred or so kilometers from my
    home).

    Impressive.
