    The solar panels of HST were replaced during the first servicing mission.
    One was folded and brought into the shuttle. The other was warped and
    couldn't be folded so it was cut loose and left in orbit. A couple of
    hours later, I became the first person on earth to see it in orbit,
    tumbling, and slowly flashing. It was leading, and a little below
    the shuttle.
